the logo of your company should reflect on what your business is and depending on your mission vision statement.
well i guess you should also try to make it chic or depending on the social class of your business. try to make it very attractive that if you are the customer you would go to that product at just one glance of your logo because you are really seduced by the logo and the logo is all that the company is.

Question by : How much to charge for logo design for luxury personal shopping service?
I have just completed a logo design for a concierge service dealing with luxury high-end brands. The items range from $ 400 – $ 20,000. Granted it’s a small start-up business but since it is dealing with luxury items, I am not very sure how to charge them. Please help! (I was in graphic design but I’m now in a different industry. I freelance when I’m free)

Charge what your worth is per hour X how many hours you worked on it.
Say you worked on it for four hours and you feel your hourly worth is $ 30.00 or $ 40.00 per hour X 4 hours = $ 120.00 at $ 30.00 per hour and $ 160.00 at $ 40,00 per hour. These are just examples and only you know what your hourly worth is . But this is a start and gives you something to work with. Also the time could be 1 hour or 10 hours that also depends on you .

I want to get a new logo template for my site. Want to ask if there is a place with editable logo templates files like (.ai, eps or .psd). I found http://www.logoswish.com/ . They have a great logos and fully editable. But i wanted to make sure if there is any other options for me. The ones I managed to find where either uneditable or far to basic designed.

I’m confused, if you need a logo for your business, and you are not a designer, Hire one. with stock logos, or editable logos, it will be very hard to protect your brand from dilution and nearly impossible to ™.

I suggest you just go for logo contest because you’re starting a new business and have yet to know your identity. Let the logo designers interpret your business and you’ll be surprise with what they can design for you.

If you go for traditional way of logo designing where you hire one designer, you will only get one idea from just one logo designer. For corporate logo, its best if you launch logo contest and see designer submit their logo design entry. Its also a custom logo design since each designer create the logo for you.
